From 1995 through 1998 I served on active duty in the United States
Navy as a criminal defense attorney. Prior to military duty, I
served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District
Attorney, Atlanta Judicial Circuit. From July, 1998 until July,
2006, I served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the
District Attorney, Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, where I prosecuted
hundreds of cases in both Superior Court and Juvenile Court.
I have extensive trial experience.
I focus on the following areas of criminal defense:
- Drug cases: I have prosecuted hundreds of drug cases in

the evidence and reach a sound conclusion regarding the possible
disposition of a case.
- Felony or Misdemeanor cases: I represent clients facing other
felony charges such as crimes against persons (Aggravated Assault,
Simple Battery, and Robbery) or crimes against property (theft by
taking, theft by receiving stolen property, and burglary).
